We have indeed published many, many books, here at the Silver Age. However, there are degrees of publication, and from some points of view it might be said that these books were not published at all. That might sound a bit harsh, and I don't intend to cast any slight upon them. Despite not ever being published, or in most cases even written, these books are among the best that the Silver Age has to offer.

Here you get the very essentials of what we are about, without ever actually having to read anything.

And isn't that the best kind of reading?

We never claimed to be very good at this... or if we did, we were clearly mistaken. We keep these unwritten, unpublished books here as a lesson to ourselves: don't try to build a space station till you've learnt how to throw a bone in the air properly.
