These books all played a part in the early success of Silver Age Books. They were published the old-fashioned way: printing a bunch of them up front and then trying to find a room in the house where they wouldn't get too dusty as the years went by… Had we not published these books at the time we did, who knows what the state of the global economy might be? (Note from 2008: look what happened when we went a few years without publishing any!) I once heard someone say that Professor Challenger in Space was the favourite book of the Queen of England, but it was me, a few minutes ago, and I wasn't telling the truth. |
